What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment involves wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth to give you your dream smile.

How will Invisalign Straighten my Teeth?

A unique, digital treatment plan that maps out the movements of your teeth will be created for you. Your Invisalign® clear aligners are then designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan, to gradually guide the teeth into their new positions. Your progress will be closely monitored throughout the treatment to ensure the treatment is proceeding well and that your aligners fit correctly.

Who is Invisalign for?

This treatment is for adults looking for a virtually invisible method to improve their smile. A consultation will be required to check your suitability and that your teeth and gums are healthy. This is necessary before embarking on cosmetic treatment. Bryony can provide advice for more complex treatments, where a specialist referral may be required. 

How much does Invisalign cost?

Like other types of orthodontic treatment, the price of the Invisalign® treatment depends on the complexity of your dental correction and your course of treatment. There is an initial consultation charge of £50. Treatment usually begins at £3000. We may be able to split the payment up throughout the course of treatment.

Is Invisalign painful?

Initial aching and tenderness are expected as the teeth begin to move. This is likely to last for a few days after the first aligner is fitted and any new aligners after that. Further along in the process, once the teeth have started to move, there should be minimal aching or discomfort.
